Article 1 (Consent to Collection of Personal Information) Defense MICE Institute (DMI) (hereinafter referred to as the "Company") shall provide users with procedures to click either "Agree" or "Cancel" buttons regarding the contents of the Company's Privacy Policy or Terms of Use, and clicking the "Agree" button shall be deemed as consent to the collection of personal information.
Article 2 (Personal Information Collection Items) The personal information items processed for consultation through online inquiries are as follows: Collection items: Name, Email, Phone Number
Article 3 (Purpose of Using Personal Information) The Company shall not disclose users' personal information without their prior consent and collects personal information as follows for smooth customer consultation and provision of various services. All information will not be used for purposes other than those stated above, and prior consent will be obtained if the scope or purpose of use of collected information changes.
- Name: Personal identification for product consultation
- Email, Phone Number: Delivery of product consultation and event-related notices, provision of new service and new product information (using DM, SMS, email, etc.)
Users may refuse to consent to the collection/use of personal information. However, if consent is refused, consultation through online inquiries will not be possible, and restrictions may apply to service use and benefit provision.
Article 4 (Retention and Usage Period of Personal Information) In principle, personal information will be destroyed without delay after the purpose of collection and use has been fulfilled. And in cases where preservation is necessary according to relevant laws such as the Commercial Act and the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, the Company shall retain information for a certain period as stipulated by relevant laws.
In this case, the Company shall use the retained information only for the purpose of retention, and the retention periods are as follows:
- Records on contracts or withdrawal of subscription: 5 years (Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce)
- Records on consumer complaints or dispute resolution: 3 years (Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce)
- Records on collection/processing and use of credit information: 3 years (Act on Use and Protection of Credit Information)
- The Company safely processes users' valuable personal information and destroys personal information through the following methods to prevent leakage:
- Personal information printed on paper is destroyed by shredding or incineration
- Personal information stored in electronic file format is deleted using technical methods that prevent reproduction of records
